Witness video : US officer strangles a young black man and immerses him in front of his wife and son
The British newspaper Daily Mail published a shocking video of a black man being treated violently by two police officers in Mississippi.
The black young man, Morten, was driving along with his pregnant wife and child. He was stopped by a police car and an officer was asked to put his hands over his head to catch him.
Morten asked why he was being stopped and put handcuffs in his hands. "Because you were driving faster than legal speed," the officer replied.
Morton resisted his question several times and the officer answers the same answer, then the officer and his colleague intervened and strangled Morten and put him on the ground and he says "you are stopped to overtake speed and now you are arrested to obstruct the process of arrest."
They paid his wife
One of the officers asked him about his identity card but was nervous about not being with him.
Morten's wife described the incident as saying, "I am portraying the violence my husband is dealing with and I will publish it." One of the officers told her that she was pregnant, but she was surprised to see her face the car while her child watched what was happening in terror.
He was charged with speeding, not wearing a seat belt, obstructing police work, not having a $ 35 license card to break an officer's siren. The wife faced the charge of obstruction of police work, and no police officer was informed of what had happened.
